BAM!! it went, collapsing over her like a shroud as a little man in almost no clown make-up barked,"Hey! That thar is a carny in a giant costume, lahk that there Barney, yee cain't DEWWW thaaat, it ain't right!", causing her to forget something even more important than huge run-on sentences pushing the rules of a story-game to tell way too much.

Once upon a time a sour old granny lived in a tiny house made entirely out of candy and she kept complaining about the sweet, sweet smell.

Then, one day, she heard a faint gnawing at the door and all excited she thought: "at last, after 73 years, some visitors" and she ran as far as her crippled, old legs could carry her to the door.
